Stopping the Cycle of Abuse with Teens

The Family Place Juvenile Treatment Program provides treatment, training, and support for young people ages 10 to 17 who have sexually abused other children.

The unique treatment approach involves all aspects of the youth's life, including family, school, employment and court.

Sometimes juveniles who abuse another child have been victims of abuse themselves, but that is never allowed to be an excuse for abuse. However, it is an element that must be explored in therapy. This holistic and intensive program lasts two to three years, and involves individual, peer group and family therapy.
